Attasit Pokpong is considered the fastest rising star in Thailand. Attasit belongs to a new generation of Thai contemporary artists who are making their mark both in Thailand and throughout Asia and the world. Attasit's unique style has attracted considerable international attention, prompting exhibitions in Shanghai and Paris in 2009, Dublin and Edinburgh in 2008, Hong Kong and Japan in 2006 and 2007. Attasit's work will be featured in asart's New York exhibition in March 2010, his first showing in the Big Apple.
